Director’s Message

We are in the nascent stages of setting up our University Library, an online one while on shared premises. As we roll out electronic resources and library services for SUSS students, faculty, staff and alumni, we will continue to engage our partner, SIM Library (Tay Eng Soon Library, Block A, Level 2), to support your needs for physical library materials, book and equipment loans, study spaces and other on-site services and facilities.

We implemented Alma library services platform and Primo resource discovery service last June to support our operations and deliver a single search experience respectively (we're still ironing out some kinks so do bear with us) as well as OpenAthens which enables us to authenticate the SUSS community to all our subscribed resources.

We are also in the midst of expanding our electronic resources (Databases A-Z) and introducing instructional support services (Research Guideslibrary workshops), along with a few other goodies (Ask The Library for FAQs and Chat) to advance research, teaching and learning.

I am very pleased to announce that we open our digital doors this month. This means that you will now access all SUSS library resources via our newly minted website,

Tell us your ideas! Give us your feedback! And let us know if you are keen to contribute in any way (your skills, passion, time, to name a few). Let's build the SUSS Library together!
