Terms and Conditions

• Room bookings are only for SUSS students, faculty, associates and staff.
• Prior booking is required for the use of the discussion rooms.
• Room bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance.
• Rooms can be booked for a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 120 minutes (2 hours) per person per day.
• Multiple room bookings are allowed. However, timings of the room bookings cannot overlap and are limited to 360 minutes (6 hours) per week per person.
• Users will need to use their SUSS email to book a room and must verify/confirm their booking via email within 15 minutes.
• Users should exercise consideration when booking and cancel a booking that is no longer required by clicking on the link in the booking confirmation email. If the confirmation email has been deleted, email ask@suss.libanswers.com with the subject title – “Request for “Booking Cancellation”.
• Booking details must match the name and student number on the student card of the person present. If the person who has booked the room is not in attendance, the booking may be cancelled.
• SUSS Library reserves the right to amend, change the location, or cancel bookings for any reason deemed necessary and will endeavour to give at least 24 hours' notice, unless in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• Before using the room, users must perform a self-check-in by scanning the QR code and entering the verification code that was sent via email. Room bookings will be released after 15 minutes if users do not perform the check-in for their room bookings or are late to check in to the room. A no-show email will be sent to users who do not show up. Repeated no-shows could result in suspension of booking privileges.
• Latecomers will not be entertained.
